You Can Make a Difference One of the most rewarding results of MPAC's campaign and the Living Lawn project has been the number of enquiries we have received from people in other communities, all asking the same question- how did you do that?
We'll use a famous line attributed to anthropologist Margaret Mead to answer:
"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has."
Each Community MattersWhile our campaign may not be changing the world, it has changed our community into a town where pesticides are recognized as a public health issue and citizens are interested in learning how to reduce and eliminate these toxic chemicals from their home environment- and from our community in general.
